Friendship Circle Band

2019 - Present

Myself and the team at Mind&Melody developed the Friendship Circle Band, a student band for participants at the Friendship Circle of Miami, an organization that brings programming to individuals with developmental disabilities.

This program is all about creating a fun, collaborative environment focusing on participants’ strengths and providing opportunities for them to try new things.

We teach participants to play ukulele, keyboard, and percussion using a color coded system and practice songs as a band.

The band program still stands and has expanded further.
